1. I am grateful Nick got home safely today. He drove to California yesterday for his great aunt's funeral, and drove back today. There was rain, and that is a lot of driving in a short period of time, so I am grateful he is home safe.

2. I am grateful we could laugh together as I told Nick how Claire threw a fit when I was getting her milk before she said "please." I've apparently trained her well.

3. I am grateful I took time to just soak in and appreciate hearing my children laugh today. Their laughter is the best sound in the world.
