1. I am grateful that yesterday my visiting teachers came and that I was able to go visiting teaching.

2. I am grateful that Claire and I got our insurance situation figured out. We are still waiting to figure out Nick's insurance, but his situation is not as urgent as mine.

3. I am grateful we could go see the movie Suffragette tonight. I cried through a lot of it, at how sad it is that women were treated like that, and with gratitude that I live in a time and place where women have a lot more rights. It is so relevant not only in gratitude but in current events of minorities who are not allowed to exercise their rights.

1. I am grateful we were safe driving in the snow today. It was the biggest storm in a while, it isn't over, and caused several crashes for others.

2. I am grateful I could talk to my friend Jessie on the phone. I really miss being her neighbor, and she has been having a hard time. I'm glad her husband texted me suggesting I call her.

3. I am grateful for the family night lesson Nick came up with: a story from The Friend and a game of find the baby Jesus from the nativity that had been hidden. The point of the story was lost on Claire, but it was so adorable to watch her hide and then find the baby Jesus. She would hide it, then come back to us, cover her eyes, then go to find it, with a look of glee and delight.

4. I am grateful my midwife said I could take Pepcid AC. The heartburn had been getting bad, and this helps so much.

1. I am grateful President Nelson shook my hand and said hi to Claire before Stake Conference today.  I wasn't expecting it since we were in a building it was being broadcast to, but he made the rounds to all the buildings before the conference started. The Spirit in the room was so strong when he was there.

2. I am grateful for the Spirit I felt when Nick gave Claire a father's blessing. I had asked for one because I was having really bad indigestion and wanted reassurance that I would know if it were turning into preterm labor, and after my blessing (which Claire had been so reverent for) she asked for one too. It was so sweet, and I think I felt the Spirit more during her blessing than my own.

3. I am grateful that the indigestion got better. It was brutal, for longer than usual, but now it is gone. And I am grateful that Nick was so kind and did everything around the house while I was in pain.

1. I am so grateful I got to attend the multistake women's training meeting today, with Sister Nelson and Sister Rasband speaking. All of the speakers were powerful, but these apostles' wives were especially so. They truly taught with power and authority and strengthened my testimony, even though they might not have formal callings. I am grateful that I came from that meeting uplifted and full of the Spirit, wanting to be better and feeling like it is possible.

2. I am grateful we got a little bit of Christmas shopping done without spending a lot of money.

3. I am grateful I can feel the baby within me moving. Tonight it felt like I was being tickled from the inside. This is my favorite part of pregnancy.
